An Endless Summer!:D

Okay, I've been very bad with not blogging, and as you can tell I haven't blogged for the past eleven months! Shame on me!
In about three more weeks, I will be starting my Junior year (yay! almost done high school woot woot!) and seminary (ahhh have to wake up around 4:30 or 5 am). But, honestly I'm not really ready want to go back just yet. My summer has been one of the most weirdest and different kinds of summer.
Let's rewind back to June. I skipped the last two days of school due to them not taking attendance and all. And the last week of school for me was amazing, because I had this big scary test that could determine if I could go do CNA's next year, and sure enough I passed with a 70 and that was what you needed to pass. Yay! But, the following week, I wasn't in the best mood, because I had to go to Girls Camp and I was a fourth year. And being a fourth year wasn't the "fun" year, which we all thought before our little event occurred. So, as a fourth year we had to go on a five mile hike, and camp for two days...sound fun? To be honest, and I know I may sound like I may be complaining and focusing on the negative, but we had to carry really heavy hiking backpacks, and had fallen trees we had to step over. And whenever we saw a fallen we would scream either timber or log out to one another. But, one stupid fallen tree with high grass (which was actually a ditch too) made me sprain my ankle. Well, maybe spraining my ankle was good, because I didn't have to carry my backpack anymore:) And, we all got to take a break. So, we ventured on, and we took some wrong turns, which led us to climb up this big dirt hill that said, "Do Not Climb," well  we were rebels and we climbed it. Some of us wiped out, including myself. We had to cross some barb wire to get to a road. While, we hiked on the road, we waved to cars and got a truck to blow his horn (pretty sweet), and some of us thought we should hitch hike back to the camp. We finally arrive, and that was the best. Our tents were pitched, and we all then decided to go swimming in an ice cold lake, which felt a-amazing. Our camp food was really good, and wasn't anything that tasted like cardboard. My favorite time during our fourth year camping trip was when we had reflection time, and I was reading the Old Testament for the upcoming year of Seminary, and I just started reading Genesis, and being out in the woods, made it amazing to see what everything God has created. While, we were away from the campsite for girls camp, and at Gunpowder State Park camp, we made bracelets, trimmed a hiking path, sang songs, and just talked. Oh and we played ninja. Our last night, was pretty interesting because I found a tick on my leg and I was wearing jeans, but the irony is everyone was wearing Bermudas and didn't get any ticks on them. Lucky me, huh?  Then there was a thunderstorm that was at least five miles away, and I was worrying all night because my scriptures were left outside, but thankfully my leader picked them up before they got soaked by the downpour. I have to say, my favorite part about camp was coming back to where all the girls were at, because they greeted us with banners and we screamed and shouted because we survived those two days. And then they came at us like a stampede with individual banners, and I was the only one from ward that was a fourth year. And the younger girls had to carry our stuff. But, before I could go anywhere, I had to go to the camp nurse and get rid of yet another tick, then an half hour later, I had to come back because I had a fever (probably because I was dehydrated and all).
Okay moving on to July. The fourth was my favorite. We went to my Aunt's for a cook out and that was just amazing. Plus, we played some games in the pool, and trying to teach people how to dive. So my favorite part of that day was when my grandfather got up to show them how to dive. He dives, but it was kind of a belly flop in away, and people were yelling out tsunami because he made a huge wave, which got my aunt soaked. Then we asked my aunt if she needed diapers because she was wet, and all.
Overall, I have had family down to visit, my computer getting fixed, amazing times at young women's mutual, and weird talks with my grandmother while we would swim. Life has been amazing. And then again, I've had some not so fun times. But, I love staying up late to watch movies or my favorite show at the moment which is "What I Like About You." I've had several new obsessions within these three months, which are loving this new Aussie singer named Cody Simpson, and also Big Time Rush which is a boy band and a show, and always wanting it to be Tuesdays so I can watch Pretty Little Liars, and Chloe King (this is actually the reason why I always can't wait to Tuesday) because one Benjamin Stone who plays Alek is hot:D and two because those shows are way to suspenseful. One thing that I really hate this summer, is my summer reading project which is *drum roll* "The Catcher in The Rye."
Well, I'll try to be more blogger friendly, by which means I really need to update more often. All I have to say is, stay tuned, for the last three weeks of my summer vacation, and buckle in for the highlights and more of my Junior year of High School (man I really am getting old :/)
