If you ever had read Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, you would know that Pip had some great expectations for himself, like for example being a wealthy man and wouldn't have to work as a blacksmith like his uncle.
Now, I have great expectations for myself and so does my teachers and my grandparents. Out of my teachers I think my AP World History teacher has a great expectation for all of us to pass the AP exam with a 3, 4, or 5. Then there is my English Honors 10 teacher who has a great expectation that we all can pass the English 10 HSA. Now finally, I really think my Allied Health Instructor has great expectations for me to do well in the class by getting good grades on tests, classwork, homework, and journals. I have been doing excellent on my journals for the class which I am so happy about that. Now, since she saw I did very well on my journals, then she will expect me to do super in the class and pass my certification test at the end of the year and the certification tests shows whether I can come back next year to continue with taking Allied Health, if I pass then next year I would be doing my clinical study.
Now I am proving my grandparents wrong and that is doing well in AP World History because they believe I am not ready to take a college course but, as to right now I am doing very well which is making me happy. I kind of have a goal for myself this quarter and that is get straight A's.
So, if I get good grades all this year, then this July, I can go to EFY and then in August, get my learners permit and I think I will be doing both because I usually do well in school.
Now, you maybe wondering on why on earth am I taking a health class. Well I plan on going into a health profession. I want to be a RN and work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the second level. And why is that I want to work in the NICU? Well, I love babies and they can't tell us what is wrong and they need help, lastly, they are so precious, love able, and cute. Who, doesn't love babies? I also wouldn't mind working in the maternity ward or in cardiovascular ward.
Why do I choose to be a nurse instead of a doctor. Nurses do so more than a doctor. Doctor usually on do surgeries etc. While a nurse visits the patients and take care of them.
So, I really should go now. Off to studying world and to do some homework. Love, Kayla :)
